Ivoclar Vivadent Virtual Monophase Elastomeric Impression Material - 2x50ml

Ivoclar Vivadent Virtual Monophase Elastomeric Impression Material, supplied in a "2x50ml" pack, is a vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impression material designed for high-precision dental impressions. This addition-cured silicone material is formulated to support modern impression techniques, ensuring accurate detail reproduction for a wide range of restorative and prosthetic treatments.

The Monophase consistency of this material is suitable for simultaneous syringe and tray applications, making it ideal for the double-arch, single-phase impression technique. It exhibits excellent adaptation to moist oral hard and soft tissues, coupled with effective moisture displacement, which is crucial for capturing fine anatomical details.

Virtual Monophase is indicated for final impressions used in the fabrication of indirect restorations such as crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers. It is also suitable for dental implant impressions, creating silicone matrices for wax-ups, study models, treatment planning, edentulous impressions, and temporary restorations.

Cartridge Preparation
Insert the cartridge into the dispenser with the correct orientation and lock it in place.
Remove the cap and bleed the cartridge by dispensing a small amount until both base and catalyst flow evenly.
Attach the appropriate mixing tip (blue base) and secure with a ¼ turn.
If required, attach an intraoral tip.
Tray Preparation
Ensure the impression tray is clean, dry, and oil-free.
Apply a thin layer of tray adhesive and allow it to dry (~3 minutes).
Material Application
Dispense the Monophase material directly into the tray.
Optionally apply material intraorally around the preparation area.
Seat the tray in the mouth using a single-step (monophase/double-arch) technique.
Working & Setting
Working Time:
Regular Set: ~1 min 30 sec
Fast Set: ~1 min
Intraoral Setting Time:
Regular Set: ~4 min 30 sec
Fast Set: ~2 min 30 sec
Hold the tray steadily in position until fully set.
Post-Impression
Remove the impression carefully after setting.
Rinse, disinfect if required, and proceed with model pouring (can be poured immediately or within 14 days under proper storage).
