Ivoclar Vivadent Monobond Plus is a universal primer meticulously formulated for the conditioning of all common restorative materials in dental practice. This single-component bonding agent is designed to establish a strong and durable chemical bond between luting composites, including the Variolink and Multilink product lines, and a comprehensive range of indirect restorative materials. It is indicated for use with glass and oxide ceramics, metals, composites, and fiber-reinforced composites, ensuring reliable adhesion between the restoration and the cementation material.

The material's efficacy is attributed to an innovative combination of three functional adhesive monomers: silane methacrylate, phosphoric methacrylate, and sulfide methacrylate. This dilute ethanolic solution is engineered to provide consistent bonding performance across various substrates. Biocompatibility tests, including cytotoxicity, have been conducted to confirm its suitability for dental applications.
