IOB Forced Air Warming System Patient Warmer

The IOB Forced Air Warming System Patient Warmer is a medical device engineered to maintain patient normothermia during anesthesia and surgical procedures. This system is indicated for both hypothermic patients and normothermic patients for whom induced hyperthermia or a localized increase in temperature is clinically necessary. It functions by drawing ambient air through a high-efficiency filter, warming it to a selected temperature, and then distributing the warmed air through compatible warming blankets to gently disperse heat over and around the patient.

Designed to prevent perioperative hypothermia, the IOB Forced Air Warming System contributes to optimizing surgical outcomes and enhancing patient well-being. The warming unit features multiple temperature settings and incorporates safety mechanisms, including a safety thermistor that triggers an alarm and independently shuts off power to the heater and motor if temperatures exceed the set point, preventing patient exposure to excessive heat.
