Influvac Tetra NH 2025/2026 0.5ml Pfs Injection is a quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine formulated for the prophylaxis of influenza, particularly for individuals at increased risk of associated complications. This vaccine is indicated for use in adults and children from 6 months of age. It provides active immunization against four distinct influenza virus strains, encompassing two influenza A subtypes and two influenza B lineages, as recommended for the 2025/2026 Northern Hemisphere season.

Each 0.5ml pre-filled syringe contains 15 micrograms of haemagglutinin for each of the four specified influenza virus strains, resulting in a total of 60 micrograms per dose. The vaccine antigens are propagated in fertilised hens' eggs from healthy chicken flocks and are inactivated. Administration is typically performed via intramuscular or deep subcutaneous injection, with the intramuscular route being the preferred method.

For optimal efficacy and safety, Influvac Tetra NH 2025/2026 0.5ml Pfs Injection requires strict cold-chain storage, maintained within a temperature range of 2°C to 8°C, and must not be frozen as freezing destroys the vaccine. The vaccine is prequalified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and adheres to both WHO and EU recommendations for the 2025/2026 Northern Hemisphere season.
