ICPA Zingisol Astringent Lotion Hemostatic Agent

ICPA Zingisol Astringent Lotion is an astringent and hemostatic agent formulated for dental applications. It is designed to address bleeding gums and support various dental procedures.

The lotion contains Zinc Sulphate I.P. 2% w/v in an aqueous base. Its mode of action involves coagulating proteins and constricting small blood vessels, which helps in reducing bleeding and promoting tissue contraction. This formulation is also noted for its biocompatibility, being gentle on soft tissues to minimize irritation.

Beyond managing bleeding gums, ICPA Zingisol Astringent Lotion is indicated for gingival tissue conditioning, use before taking impressions, and prior to performing Class V or root surface restorations. The product is supplied in a 15ml (0.5 fl.oz) plastic bottle with an inbuilt dropper for convenient application.
