Sterilization: Clean and sterilize the amalgam carrier before use according to standard autoclave protocols.

Loading the Carrier: After trituration, place the amalgam in an amalgam well. Push the tip of the carrier into the amalgam to fill the hollow cylinder with the material.

Placement: Position the carrier tip over the prepared tooth cavity or restoration site.

Dispensing: Press the plunger mechanism to release the amalgam from the carrier into the cavity in small increments.
