Preparation
Insert the cartridge into a compatible dispensing gun.
Bleed the cartridge before attaching a new mixing tip to ensure even flow.
Single-Phase Impression Technique
Achieve proper hemostasis and clean the field using an air-water spray.
Backfill the impression syringe or attach an intraoral tip to the mixing tip.
Dispense the material into the impression tray (do not overfill).
Simultaneously, syringe the material completely around the preparation/abutment.
Insert the loaded tray within 1 minute 10 seconds from the start of intraoral syringing.
Setting & Removal Time (Regular Set):
Minimum Removal Time:
5 minutes (Regular Set wash + tray material)
4 minutes when Regular Set Wash is used with Fast Set Tray material
Dual-Phase Two-Step (Putty-Wash) Technique
Make the primary impression using Aquasil Ultra Xtra Tray, Aquasil Putty, or Reprosil Tray material.
Place one or more polyethylene plastic sheets over the impression material to create uniform wash space and prevent contamination.
Insert the tray into the mouth and gently move it side-to-side and back-and-forth to create spacing.
Remove the tray once the material reaches a rubbery consistency and allow it to fully set undisturbed.
Remove the polyethylene sheet, rinse the impression with water, and air dry.
Simultaneously with tray loading, syringe the wash material completely around the preparation/abutment.
Reinsert the filled tray into the mouth.
