The Coltene ParaCore Automix Intro Kit is a versatile dental material designed for core build-up, cementing root posts, and indirect restorations. This composite-based system is suitable for permanent cementation of various restorations, including crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays made from ceramic, metal, or composite materials.
ParaCore is a dual-cured, glass-reinforced, and radiopaque composite material. Its composition includes methacrylates, fluoride, barium glass, and amorphous silica, contributing to its mechanical and radiographic properties. The material is available in an automix syringe for direct placement.
The ParaCore system establishes an optimal "monoblock bond interface" between dentin, post, and crown, promoting long-term stability and high strength for restorations. The ParaCore SLOW version, included in the Intro Kit, offers an extended working time of up to 60 seconds at 37°C, which is beneficial for larger restorations or post cementation.
