The Buffalo Filter ViroSafe ExtraLong Life 18 Hour Filter withTwin Ports 7/8 is engineered for continuous surgical smoke evacuation, effectively eliminating surgical smoke and airborne particulate matter during medical procedures. This filter provides up to "18 hours" of operational life, ensuring a sustained clean surgical environment.

This filter integrates an advanced four-stage filtration system, including a pre-filter, activated carbon, an Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA) filter, and a post-filter. The ULPA grade filtration captures particulates and microorganisms ranging from 0.1 to 0.2 microns with an efficiency of 99.999%. The activated carbon stage is specifically designed for the removal and adsorption of toxic gases and odors produced by burning tissues.

Equipped with "Twin Ports 7/8" male ports, this filter ensures compatibility with a variety of surgical instruments and is designed to fit Buffalo Filter's PlumeSafe Turbo and Porta PlumeSafe 604 surgical smoke evacuators. A built-in fluid trap can hold up to 100 cc of fluid, which helps prevent clogging and extends the filter's lifespan. The filter's enclosed design protects healthcare personnel from potential contamination during changes.
