Bistos Fetal Monitor with Twin Probe (BT-350)

The Bistos Fetal Monitor with Twin Probe (BT-350) is a microprocessor-based medical device designed for continuous monitoring, display, and recording of fetal heart rate (FHR) and uterine contraction (UC) during antepartum testing. This system is specifically engineered for non-invasively measuring maternal abdominal contractions and fetal heart rate, aiding in the assessment of fetal well-being during non-stress tests. It is capable of twin monitoring, utilizing two pulsed ultrasound transducers for simultaneous and independent FHR readings for each fetus.

The BT-350 provides real-time FHR monitoring with automatic detection of abnormal FHR patterns and integrated UC tracking for comprehensive assessment of maternal contractions. Data is presented on a 7-inch wide TFT color LCD display, which clearly shows FHR, UC, and other critical parameters. The monitor includes built-in memory for storing patient data, supporting up to 150 patients or 450 hours of data, and features an integrated thermal array printer for real-time reports.

Equipped with configurable audible alarms, the BT-350 alerts clinicians to abnormal FHR or UC readings, ensuring timely intervention. It also incorporates cross-channel verification to prevent miscalculated fetal heart rates, activating an alarm if both Doppler channels detect identical heart rates. For enhanced data management, the device supports wired (RS-232C) and wireless (Bluetooth/Wifi) connectivity for PC interface and central monitoring systems, allowing fetal heart sound recording and playback.
