ASF Opthalmic Raf Ruler

The ASF Opthalmic Raf Ruler, also known as the Royal Air Force Rule or RAF Near-Point Rule (RNPR), is a clinical instrument designed for assessing binocular vision function in ophthalmology and optometry practices. This manual device provides a binocular gauge to accurately measure objective and subjective convergence, as well as accommodation, in 1 mm increments.

Utilized for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, the RAF Ruler is essential for determining the Near Point of Convergence (NPC) and Near Point of Accommodation (NPA). These measurements are crucial for diagnosing conditions such as convergence insufficiency and various accommodative anomalies.
