Angelus MTA (Mineral Trioxide Aggregate) 2 Doses Intracanal Medicament is a bioceramic reparative cement designed for various endodontic procedures. It is indicated for root canal therapy applications such as pulp capping, perforation repair, apexification, and root-end filling. This material is also suitable for sealing internal and communicating root resorptions, as well as for pulpotomy and apexogenesis.

Formulated with fine hydrophilic particles, Angelus MTA creates a bioactive mineral structure when mixed with water. This composition, including calcium oxide and aggregated oxides, allows it to effectively seal the root canal, promote tissue regeneration, and provide a hermetic seal against bacterial invasion. The material is biocompatible and non-resorbable, ensuring long-term stability and successful outcomes in root canal treatments.

Angelus MTA received FDA approval in 2011, making it available in the United States. It exhibits high radiopacity, surpassing that of dentin, which facilitates excellent radiographic visualization. The material has a final setting time of 15 minutes. The "2 Doses" presentation is designed for precise mixing and application, aiming to reduce material waste and enhance procedural convenience.
