The Anamol Laboratories ASO Turbilatex Test Kit is designed for the quantitative determination of Antistreptolysin O (ASO) antibodies in human serum or plasma using the latex turbidimetric method. ASO is an antibody produced in response to Streptolysin O, a toxin released by Group A Streptococcus bacteria. Elevated ASO levels are indicative of recent streptococcal infections and are useful in diagnosing conditions such as rheumatic fever and acute glomerulonephritis.
