Alburel-OS 20% 100ml Injection is a plasma protein therapy used for short-term fluid replacement in cases of trauma, excessive bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis. Alburel-OS 20% Solution for Infusion contains Human Albumin (20%), a naturally occurring plasma protein essential for regulating oncotic pressure and maintaining fluid balance. This formulation helps replace lost blood plasma proteins, supporting recovery during trauma, surgery, dialysis, or severe burns.

This is an intravenous solution (site of administration for this drug is veins).

Step 1: Locate & Clean 2-inch area around the site with alcohol swab or pad.

Step 2: Prepare and plunge-in the drug into syringe from the vial.

Step 3: Insert the IV cannula into the vein at a 15-30° angle until a flashback of blood is seen.

Step 4: Hold the IV bottle upright, pierce the tubing spike firmly into the bottle & hang on pole.

Step 5: Open the roller clamp slowly for priming the IV Line.

Step 6: Once the tubing is fully primed, close the roller clamp to stop the flow.

Step 7: Withdraw the needle, attach IV tubing to it & then open roller clamp.

Step 8: Adjust the flow as per calculated drip-rate to set the infusion.

Step 9: Monitor the infusion flow periodically to prevent risk or identify obstruction.
