Someone with a walking stick is not old. Someone who holds the wall to cross a room is. Someone who asks you to walk with them every time you go outside is. Someone who decides not to go to the wedding because the venue has uneven ground is. The AGEasy Four Leg Walking Stick is a tool for movement and mobility assistance so that you can live your life without limitations.
Here’s how it is different from a standard single tip cane - A single tip cane has one rubber point of contact with the ground. A user needs to keep the stick perfectly vertical for stability. On a grass, gravel, a wet marble floor or a slightly uneven footpath, that single point contact can slip, and tilt, or sink. The AGEasy Four Leg Walking Stick comes with a quad base that places 4 rubber tipped feet in a spread pattern, connected by a ring. The ring distributes the load evenly across the individual legs so the base is always planted even on uneven surfaces.
The stick remains standing on its own when placed on a flat ground. This is useful when a user needs to release the stick in order to do another task. A single tip cane will fall. This will not.
The aluminum shaft adjusts from 29 to 37 inches using a push-button mechanism. The correct height is set once, to align with the user's wrist crease when their arm hangs naturally. The soft PVC handle is T-shaped with a texture, and a sufficient width to create an even distribution of grip pressure across the palm. For users with arthritis or reduced grip strength, this handle shape allows the wrist to rest in its natural position rather than flexing to hold a narrow rod.
This stick weighs 800 grams and can handle a load capacity up to 100 kg. It is manufactured in India by Prajwal Healthcare in Bangalore. It comes with a generous 7-day no-questions-asked return and replacement policy.
