On Call Plus Blood Glucose Test Strips (200 Test Strips)

The On Call Plus Blood Glucose Test Strips (200 Test Strips) are engineered for the accurate and reliable measurement of blood glucose levels. These strips are intended for the quantitative detection of glucose in capillary whole blood from the fingertip, forearm, and/or palm. They serve as an aid in monitoring the effectiveness of diabetes control programs for individuals with diabetes at home and for healthcare professionals.

Each On Call Plus test strip contains an electrochemical sensor with a glucose-specific enzyme, such as glucose oxidase, and conductive contacts embedded on a plastic strip. This chemical reagent system reacts with glucose in the whole blood sample to produce an electrical current, which the compatible meter then uses to calculate the glucose concentration.

The On Call Plus Blood Glucose Monitoring System, which includes these test strips, meets the accuracy requirements of ISO 15197. It has also received FDA 510(k) clearance (k090057) for its intended use.
