  1. Unwrap the sterile pack and gently pick the AbGel gelatin sponge. 
  2. Trim the sponge to a desired size, if required, without compromising sterility. 
  3. Place the dry sponge directly onto the bleeding site. 
  4. Apply gentle pressure for a few seconds to secure positioning. 
  5. Allow the sponge to absorb and support natural clot formation. Do not remove or replace the sponge; it will be completely absorbed by the body. 

  • Avoid use on infected or contaminated wounds unless clinically justified.
