Preparation: Ensure the tooth surface is clean and free of debris. Prophylax the teeth with pumice and rinse thoroughly. Isolate the treatment area to control moisture. Prepare the Adhesive: If using capsules, activate the capsule and dispense the adhesive onto a mixing pad. If using syringes, dispense a small amount of adhesive onto a mixing pad. Bracket Preparation: Apply a thin coat of Transbond™ PLUS Adhesive to the base of the bracket. Positioning: Carefully place the bracket onto the prepared tooth surface, ensuring proper alignment. Use the color change feature to confirm correct positioning. Curing: Light-cure the adhesive using a dental curing light according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure adequate curing time for optimal bond strength. Cleanup: Remove excess adhesive using a scaler or explorer. Use a dental floss or interproximal brush to clean around the brackets. Final Cure: Perform a final light-cure to ensure complete polymerization of the adhesive. Post-Bonding Instructions: Advise the patient on proper oral hygiene practices and any dietary restrictions.
