The 3M RelyX Veneer Resin Luting Cement is a resin luting material specifically engineered for the permanent cementation of ceramic and composite veneers. It is designed to achieve natural aesthetics and long-lasting results in aesthetic dentistry.

This light-cure only system provides clinicians with unlimited working time, allowing for precise placement and contouring of veneers. Its low film thickness facilitates accurate veneer seating, minimizing the need for occlusal adjustments and helping to preserve natural tooth structure. The cement establishes a secure bond to dentin and enamel, contributing to the longevity and stability of veneer restorations. The "Translucent" shade ensures seamless integration with natural tooth color variations, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of veneer restorations. The cement complies with the ISO 4049:2000 standard for resin-based luting cements.

To use 3M™ ESPE™ RelyX™ Veneer Cement effectively for the permanent cementation of ceramic or composite veneers, follow these step-by-step directions: Materials Needed: RelyX Veneer Cement syringe (chosen shade) Appropriate bonding system (RelyX Ceramic Primer and Single Bond Dental Adhesive System or Scotchbond™ Multi-Purpose Dental Adhesive System) Curing light with a minimum output of 400 mW/cm² in the 400-500 nm wavelength range Mixing pad Applicator tips (if required) RelyX Try-In Paste (for shade selection, if needed) Procedure: Preparation: Ensure that the veneer restoration and tooth preparation are complete and clean. Verify that the restoration fits properly and is free from any debris. Shade Selection (Optional): If needed, use RelyX Try-In Paste to select the appropriate shade. Apply a small amount of the paste to the veneer and place it on the tooth to verify shade accuracy. Remove any excess paste. Adhesive Application: Apply the chosen bonding system (RelyX Ceramic Primer and Single Bond Dental Adhesive System or Scotchbond™ Multi-Purpose Dental Adhesive System) following the manufacturer's instructions. Allow it to set as directed. Cement Mixing: If the cement is not pre-mixed, dispense a small amount of RelyX Veneer Cement onto a mixing pad. Mix the cement thoroughly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Ensure that it reaches a uniform consistency. Cement Placement: Load the mixed cement into a cement syringe. If the veneer is small, an applicator tip may be used for precise placement. Dispense the cement evenly on the internal surface of the veneer. Veneer Seating: Carefully position the veneer onto the prepared tooth. Ensure it is aligned correctly and press it into place. Excess cement may flow out. Curing: Use a curing light with a minimum output of 400 mW/cm² in the 400-500 nm wavelength range to cure the cement. Ensure that the light reaches all areas of the veneer for the recommended cure time (typically 30 seconds, but 40 seconds for A5/Dark shade). Excess Cement Removal: After curing, remove any excess cement with a suitable instrument. Pay particular attention to interproximal areas and margins to ensure a clean finish. Final Check: Verify that the veneer is securely in place and that there is no residual cement. Make any necessary adjustments for proper occlusion and esthetics. Post-Operative Care: Instruct the patient on post-operative care, including oral hygiene and any dietary restrictions, if necessary.
