3M RelyX 3D Glass Fiber Posts are advanced dental posts specifically engineered for reliable and durable core build-ups in endodontically treated teeth. They are indicated for supporting and securing coronal restorations when there is insufficient residual tooth structure, defined as less than 4mm. These posts help to recreate abutments and preserve tooth strength following endodontic therapy.

Constructed from highly radiopaque glass fibers embedded within a composite resin matrix, these posts offer an advantageous combination of mechanical and esthetic properties. The glass fibers are oriented in parallel and equally distributed, and are pre-tensioned during manufacturing for enhanced post stability. Their dentin-like elasticity helps to distribute forces evenly along the root, reducing the risk of root fractures compared to metal posts.
