The 3M™ Ioban™ 2 Antimicrobial Incise Drape (6640) is engineered to help prevent wound contamination during surgical procedures. This sterile incise drape, measuring 44cm x 35cm, creates a sterile surface and delivers continuous broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity at the skin surface and deeper layers, thereby aiding in the reduction of Surgical Site Infection (SSI) risk.

Constructed with a strong, conformable, and breathable polyester incise film, the drape features an iodophor-impregnated adhesive. This adhesive securely adheres to the patient's skin, reducing drape lift and effectively immobilizing microorganisms to prevent their migration into the surgical incision site. Its high moisture-vapour transmission rate (MVTR) ensures breathability, maintaining adhesion throughout the procedure.

Designed with low memory stretch, the 3M™ Ioban™ 2 Antimicrobial Incise Drape allows for limb mobilization or heavy retraction with reduced tension to the skin. It is clinically shown to help reduce the risk of wound contamination and immobilize bacteria on the skin.
