The 3M Filtek One Bulk Fill Restorative Syringe A2 is a visible-light activated composite resin designed for efficient direct restorations. This material is specifically formulated for one-step, bulk fill composite placement up to 5mm, primarily in posterior applications, while also being suitable for anterior restorations.

This restorative material is a posterior resin composite, featuring a unique composition that includes AFM (dynamic stress-relieving monomer), AUDMA, UDMA, and 1,12-dodecane-DMA. It incorporates a nanofiller system with approximately 76.5% inorganic filler by weight, comprising silica, zirconia, and ytterbium trifluoride particles, contributing to its strength and wear resistance. The 3M Filtek One Bulk Fill Restorative is also noted as a BPA-free dental material.

Beyond direct anterior and posterior restorations, its indications extend to use as a base/liner under direct restorations, core build-ups, and splinting. It is also indicated for indirect restorations, including inlays, onlays, and veneers, as well as for restorations of deciduous teeth, extended fissure sealing in molars and premolars, and the repair of defects in porcelain restorations, enamel, and temporaries.
