3M Clinpro Sealant Pit & Fissure Sealant - Refill (Pack of 1 Syringe)

The 3M Clinpro Sealant Pit & Fissure Sealant is a light-cure, fluoride-releasing pit and fissure sealant specifically formulated for sealing the enamel pits and fissures of teeth to aid in the prevention of caries. This dental solution is indicated for use on posterior teeth in both children and adults.

Based on methacrylate resin chemistry, including BIS-GMA and TEGDMA, this sealant incorporates a patented soluble organic fluoride source for continuous fluoride release and recharge from fluoride-containing products. The formulation is not made with natural rubber latex and does not contain BPA.

The 3M Clinpro Sealant meets ISO 6874:2015(E) for Type II light-cured polymer-based pit and fissure sealants and has received FDA 510(k) clearance, demonstrating substantial equivalence to predicate devices.

Tooth Preparation: Thoroughly clean the tooth surface to remove plaque and debris from enamel surfaces and pits and fissures. Rinse well with water and dry. Note: Do not use any cleaning medium containing oils or fluoride. Etching: Apply etchant to all enamel surfaces to be sealed, following standard etching protocol. Rinsing and Drying: Thoroughly rinse the etched surfaces and dry until a clean, frosty appearance is obtained. Sealant Application: Apply 3M™ Clinpro™ Sealant directly into the pits and fissures using the syringe tip. Light Curing: Light cure the sealant according to the manufacturer’s instructions. LED: 10 seconds Halogen: 20 seconds Final Check: Verify sealant coverage and retention. Adjust occlusion if required.
