3M Avagard Hand Sanitizer - 500ml

The 3M™ Avagard™ Hand Sanitizer, in a 500ml dispenser bottle, is formulated as a surgical and healthcare personnel hand antiseptic. This waterless solution is designed to significantly reduce microorganisms on the hands and forearms prior to surgery or patient care, and to help reduce bacteria that can potentially cause disease. Its dual-action formula provides both rapid antimicrobial kill and persistent activity, eliminating the need for water and minimizing time at the scrub sink.

This hand antiseptic contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate 1% Solution and Ethyl Alcohol 61% w/w as active ingredients. It is enhanced with emollients and moisturizers to help maintain skin integrity and prevent dryness, even with frequent use. The formulation is dye and fragrance-free, and is compatible with natural rubber latex and synthetic non-latex gloves, including nitrile and vinyl (PVC).

The 3M™ Avagard™ Hand Sanitizer is FDA NDA approved as a brushless, surgical waterless hand antiseptic and as a Health Care Personnel Handwash. It meets or exceeds FDA standards for surgical scrub at all time points and adheres to guidelines from the CDC, AORN, and WHO.
