Brand Volk
The Volk SOLR Surgical System 200 (VSOLR) is an advanced non-contact indirect ophthalmic surgical system engineered for enhanced intraoperative retinal visualization. It supports complex posterior segment surgeries, including vitreoretinal procedures, by providing clear, wide-field views of the retina. This system is intended for use in the diagnosis and therapy of intraocular abnormalities when attached to a surgical microscope.
Integrating Volk's proprietary wide-field optics, the SOLR Surgical System 200 features an expanded condensing lens that ensures an unobstructed optical and illumination path, delivering shadow-free, crystal-clear views for both the surgeon and assistant. The system includes a 200 mm Condensing Lens, a Lens Arm, a Rotation Base, and surgical lenses (MidField & WideAngle), along with a ROLS Infinity Reinverter.
Components of the Volk SOLR Surgical System 200 are designed for steam sterilization, with optical components such as the condensing and surgical lenses compatible with pre-vacuum steam sterilization cycles at a minimum temperature of 132°C for 3 minutes. The Volk SOLR Surgical System is classified as a US FDA Class 1 medical device and is 510(k) Exempt under FDA regulation 21 CFR 878.4700.
