Influvac Tetra NH 2025/2026 0.5ml Pfs Injection

Influvac Tetra NH 2025/2026 0.5ml Pfs Injection is a quadrivalent influenza vaccine designed for active immunization against four prevalent influenza virus strains: two influenza A subtypes and two influenza B lineages. This vaccine is indicated for adults and children from 6 months of age and older, providing protection against seasonal influenza.

The vaccine is especially recommended for individuals at higher risk of severe influenza complications, including young children, elderly adults, pregnant women, and those with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or heart failure. It is administered as a 0.5ml dose by intramuscular or deep subcutaneous injection, with the intramuscular route being preferred. Typically, a single dose is given annually before the influenza season. For children less than 9 years of age who have not previously been vaccinated, a second 0.5ml dose is recommended after an interval of at least 4 weeks.

Influvac Tetra Injection (0.5ml) contains purified and inactivated influenza virus antigens from four flu strains (two influenza A and two influenza B lineages) recommended by the WHO for the specific flu season. It is formulated with excipients that stabilize the vaccine and ensure potency.

1. Locate & clean 2-inch area around the site with alcohol swab or pad.
2. Prepare and draw the vaccine into the syringe from the vial.
3. Insert the needle & inject at a 90° angle to the skin with a quick thrust.
4. Withdraw the needle at the same angle & press a cotton ball over site.

NOTE: Do not self-administer. It must only be given by healthcare professionals.
