GC Gold Label 9 / Fuji IX (Powder-Liquid) Restorative GIC in shade A2 is a high-strength, strontium-based glass ionomer cement designed for a variety of dental restorative applications. This true glass ionomer material chemically bonds to tooth structure and is formulated to release fluoride, contributing to internal remineralization and enhancing surface strength over time.
This restorative GIC is indicated for Class I and small Class II restorations in non-load bearing areas, Class I and Class II restorations in deciduous teeth, transitional restorations, and base/core build-ups in both permanent and deciduous teeth. It is also suitable for Class V and root surface restorations. The material is optimized for posterior restorations, offering enhanced durability and wear resistance.
The powder-liquid formulation allows for a hand-mix preparation, providing a working time of 2 minutes from the start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). It exhibits a net setting time of 2 minutes 20 seconds at 23°C (73.4°F), enabling efficient clinical workflows. Final finishing can commence approximately 6 minutes after the start of mixing.
Key Features :
Strontium-based glass ionomer cement for permanent and temporary restorations, including Class I, small Class II, Class V, root surface, transitional, and base/core build-ups.
