Cresp 40 Injection is a prescription medicine containing Darbepoetin Alfa (40mcg), primarily used to treat anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) or chemotherapy-induced anemia. It works by stimulating bone marrow to increase red blood cell production, helping restore normal hemoglobin levels. Each Cresp 40 Injection contains:

1. Locate & clean a 2-inch area around the injection site with an alcohol swab.
2. Prepare the syringe by drawing the drug from the vial.
3. Insert the needle at a 90° angle into the muscle (commonly deltoid muscle).
4. Administer the injection and withdraw the needle at the same angle.
5. Apply a cotton ball over the injection site to prevent bleeding.
