Brand Aurthot

Aurthot Range of Motion Elbow Brace (ROM Elbow Brace) offers state-of-the art range-of-motion control and locking capabilities. Only Aurthot Range of Motion Elbow Brace allows flexion and extension adjustments through pin locking system and a quick lock from 0° to 90° in 7.5° increments. The ease of use and versatility of the Aurthot ROM Elbow Brace can support a variety of protocols following major ligament surgery, elbow reconstruction, ligament and tendon repairs, surgical repair of a fracture and biceps repair. The cool wrap design allows for a comfortable all-day application. The included arm sling strap limits migration so the brace stays where it belongs while helping your arm rest comfortably.
The Aurthot ROM Elbow Brace immobilizes the elbow and limits the amount of flexion and extension possible. The hinge is designed to limit the elbow joint from extending further once it has reached a certain degree. This is done to protect the soft tissue of the elbow joint and allow it to heel after surgery or injury and to not allow the elbow joint to re-injure in the same way. This means that a post-operative elbow brace can be worn before and after surgery for maximum protection.
The ROM Elbow Brace can be used for non-operative application, collateral ligament strains and ruptures and ulnar nerve transposition. May be used following early cast removal to stabilize fractures and post-operative immobilization. The ROM Elbow Brace is ideal for the treatment of stable supracondylar fractures, stable radial fractures, and lateral/medial Epicondylitis. Goals Adjustable immobilization, Controlled ROM, reduce anti-inflammatory medications, decrease pain symptoms. Improve elbow joint function, alternative to casting.
If you are someone who has recently had elbow reconstruction, ligament and tendon repairs, surgical repair of a fracture and biceps repair this is a highly recommended ROM Elbow Brace.

•Unlock hinges and hold the brace gently and firmly.
•Fix the angle of flexion and extension on the dial to the prescribed degree using pins to lock the position.
•Fix the other dial similarly, at the same degree of flexion and extension
•Place the mid-point of hinge over lateral epicondyle (outside of elbow) and align both the dials with centre of elbow
•Make sure to keep the flexion on the arm position and extension on the forearm position
•Fasten and secure the middle strap of the cuffs closest to elbow, padding then rest of the straps for firm grip, do the same for the forearm side paddings
•Ensure the brace is snugly fixed and provides the desired degree of flexion and/or extension
•Arm slings are often included when you use elbow braces and this is the final step in the application process.
•Attach the sling to the bar of the elbow brace that is closest to the body.
•Wrap the loop end of sling around the bar in between the bicep strap and the shoulder end bracket.
•Insert the free end of the sling into the loop and pull through until secure.
