3M Filtek Z350 XT Refill Syringe Universal Composite Resin in Enamel A3 shade is a visible-light activated nanocomposite designed for a broad spectrum of restorative applications in dentistry. This material is indicated for direct anterior and posterior restorations, including occlusal surfaces, as well as for core build-ups, splinting, and indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers.

Utilizing 3M's patented "true nanotechnology," Filtek Z350 XT Universal Restorative incorporates a combination of non-agglomerated/non-aggregated silica and zirconia fillers, along with aggregated zirconia/silica cluster fillers. This advanced material is engineered to deliver exceptional strength, wear resistance similar to enamel, and superior polish retention for long-lasting aesthetic outcomes.

The composite resin is delivered via a refill syringe, offering excellent handling characteristics for precise placement and adaptation during restorative procedures. The system features color-coded syringes by opacity, simplifying shade selection for clinicians.

Key Features :

Material type: Visible-light activated nanocomposite resin, suitable for a wide range of clinical indications including direct anterior and posterior restorations, core build-ups, splinting, and indirect restorations.
Mixing and handling: Supplied in a refill syringe for direct application, offering exceptional handling and ease of use, with syringes color-coded by opacity for efficient shade selection.
Setting characteristics: This composite is visible-light activated, with cure times varying by shade and increment depth; for Enamel shades, a 2.0 mm increment cures in 20 seconds with halogen lights or 10 seconds with high-output LED lights.
Regulatory compliance: The product complies with EU Regulation 1169/2011, the US Food Allergy Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004, and California Proposition 65.

Preparation: Isolate the tooth and clean the cavity thoroughly. Etching: Apply etchant as per protocol; rinse and gently dry but maintain moist dentin if using total-etch technique. Bonding: Apply compatible dental adhesive and light cure according to instructions. Application: Dispense Filtek Z350 XT from the syringe and place in increments of ≤2 mm for optimum polymerization. Curing: Light cure each increment for the recommended duration using a dental curing light. Finishing: Shape and polish the restoration to achieve desired contours and finish. Post-procedure: Check for occlusion and adjust as needed. Storage: Store syringes in a cool, dark place with caps securely sealed.
