The GE LightSpeed Ultra 8 Slice CT Scanner is a high-performance multi-slice

helical CT imaging system designed for fast, accurate, and high-resolution

diagnostic imaging. Built with advanced detector technology and a powerful

53 kW generator, the system enables rapid image acquisition with up to

eight slices per rotation and a gantry rotation time as fast as 0.5 seconds.

Equipped with GE’s HiLight solid-state detectors and a 6.3 MHU Performix

X-ray tube, the scanner delivers exceptional image clarity while maintaining

optimized radiation dose levels. Its large 70 cm gantry aperture and

high patient weight capacity ensure comfort and flexibility for a wide

range of clinical applications including neurology, cardiology, oncology,

trauma imaging, and whole-body diagnostics.
