To set up a hemodialysis machine, it requires specific physical infrastructure which includes careful organization of water supply, plumbing , and electricity, waste disposal and selection of Haemodialysis machine which is compatible with the patient’s environment.
Electricity: Electric supply should be compatible with all equipment and as per recommended by Manufacturer with local regulations.
Water Supply: Must have a good water supply with proper pressure.
Plumbing: For water supply line and drainage supply line.
Waste disposal: The liquid waste passes through the RO plant and is then disposed. A separate solid waste disposal is required as this waste is biohazardous. Also some structural changes need to be done as per requirements.
