Features: • The knee cap (patella) is a small bone in the front of the knee • It glides up and down a groove in the thigh bone (femur)as the knee bend and straightens. • This groove in the femur is called the femoral groove. • The muscle on the front of the thigh are the quadriceps muscles. • The quadriceps muscles pull the patella inwards and outwards and help knee the patella in the Centre of the femoral groove. • The Activesplint is made from soft grade PE-LD sheet which is already moulded in shape. • Further manipulation can be done as per requirements. • It is well padded for comfort and covered with foam bonded vinyl fabric.
Specifications: • Provides the technical correct fitting and aesthetic look. • Soft side inside provided for comfort. • The Activesplint is designed in two parts. • The fitting is locked into each other and protect the femur. • Does not limit the range of motion. • Straps provided to bond the splint on the injured area.
